I'm also an independent consultant, used to write some java code... about 6 years back. Now I do mostly C#, Ruby, and Objective-C. Also a Mac Geek. I saw your review of Aaron's 3rd edition Cocoa book. I've been to the ranch several times (Cocoa, RoR, OpenGL) and recommend it highly. I also attend the Pittsburgh Cocoaheads meetings with Mark Dalrymple... So its a small world. You're the first "other" McCune I've ever run into in geek-dom, so I just had to say, "hey".
